GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING

The film is about a young maid who is working in a rich house. Her boss is a painter and he wants to paint his maid. The boss sees in her the possibility to do a good picture. Finally, he manages to paint a portrait of his maid with a pearl earring. In fact they fall in love.

- When I watched the film I was very excited because I didn’t know how it would end, it was quite unusual and totally unexpected. However, I liked the film very much. I could understand the film because the dialogues were written in Spanish. Therefore I don’t recommend the film to any friend of mine because none of them understand the language, but I would recommend it in Spanish.

- I think the film was boring because there was no action and the story wasn’t interesting. I don’t like the films without a good script and good actors and this one doesn’t have it. My mark is a 0.

- I didn’t like the film because sometimes it was slow and boring but the plot was OK. The costumes were fantastic. They were like those in the painter’s time and if the love story had been more important I’d have enjoyed it better.

- I liked the film. It’s a romantic movie with a very good plot. The relationship between the maid and the artist is very subtle and original. The costumes were the worst thing. I didn’t like them at all.

- I didn’t know what to expect from the movie in fact, I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I was completely surprised. I enjoyed it very much. There’s little action and there’s little dialogue because the film is told visually creating the right atmosphere.
